Hear some of London’s most innovative and exciting young design authors selected by online architecture and design magazine Dezeen talk about their books followed by a discussion about the state of design book publishing today. Buy the books on the night and take advantage of special offers in the Art Gallery Shop.

Speakers are: Sophie Lovell, author of Limited Edition (Birkhäuser); Max Fraser; author and publisher of London Design Guide (Spotlight Books); Henrietta Thompson, author of Remake it Home (Thames & Hudson); and Alex Bec, co-editor and publisher of It's Nice That (It's Nice That).

The evening will be chaired by Dezeen editor-in-chief Marcus Fairs, author of Twenty-First Century Design (Carlton Books).

Absolut Vodka have joined up with designers Tom Foulsham and Valentin Vodev - Ron Arad ’s ex-students - to celebrate Ron Arad:Restless with a drinking experience like no other! Tom and Valentin, who have created the mechanisms in the exhibition that make Arad’s designs rock, wobble and bounce, have produced a playful rotating bar which will appear every Thursday evening at Barbican Art Gallery providing visitors with a completely interactive experience.
