In a decade of economic and social unrest, with creative rebellion in the air, the Architectural Association (AA) School of Architecture played a significant role in producing an energetic generation of architects, designers and thinkers. Former students and teachers Ron Arad, Bernard Tschumi, Sir Peter Cook and Charles Jencks discuss their time at the AA with Brett Steele, Director since 2005.

A series of four talks each dedicated to one of the decades Ron Arad has lived and worked in London. Each night there is a panel discussion followed by a chance to meet the speakers over drinks.

Tom and Valentin, who have created the mechanisms in the exhibition that make Arad’s designs rock, wobble and bounce, have constructed an exclusive mobile Absolut Bar which will appear every Thursday evening at Barbican Art Gallery to quench your thirst and inspire your imaginations.
