Emotion, imagination and mind-boggling skill – this solo programme from Italian pianist Beatrice Rana has everything a piano fan could wish for.

‘Watching Rana play is magical… Her fingers seem to dance across the keys’ (Bachtrack). The dance begins with Bach’s Italian Concerto, ‘Composed for Music Lovers, to Refresh Their Spirits’, according to the first edition, and still doing so today.

Presented by the Barbican.

Barbican Classical Music Programme receives major support from Marcus Margulies and additional support In Memory of John Murray.
