La Grazia (12)

Senior Community Cinema

A man in a dark coat and hat stands on a dirt road surrounded by grass and trees without leaves.

Toni Servillo stars as Italy's outgoing president in this sweeping exploration of love, duty and personal freedom from Academy Award-winning director Paolo Sorrentino.

As Mariano De Santis (Servillo) reaches the end of his tenure as President of Italy, he faces wrenching decisions, both political and deeply personal. He must confront his own conscience and seek guidance from those closest to him, including his daughter, Dorotea (Anna Ferzetti). Together, they grapple with the timeless question: who owns our days?

Featuring a virtuoso performance by Servillo (for which he won the Best Actor Award at the 2025 Venice Film Festival), La Grazia traces the indelible imprint one leaves behind through family and actions. Sorrentino's signature poetic eye, combined with an evocative, immersive soundtrack, delivers a heartfelt masterwork and a profound meditation on the choices that define a life.

In Italian with English subtitles.
