A Private Life (15)

Parent & Baby Screening

A Hitchcockian thriller in French, Jodie Foster stars as an American psychoanalyst in Paris who has taken it upon herself to investigate her client's death.

After learning about the suicide of a patient, psychoanalyst Lilian Steiner (Foster) suspects foul play.

Determined to uncover the truth, Lilian takes matters into her own hands and, with help from her ex-husband (Daniel Auteuil), becomes an unlikely sleuth in an increasingly delirious whodunnit.

Drawing on Alfred Hitchcock and Brian De Palma at their most playful, French filmmaker Rebecca Zlotowski approaches this mystery-caper with genuine thrills and a joyful dose of dark humour.
