Night Stage (18)

Two men hold each other in an embrace, one with the others fingers in his mouth.

An actor and a politician fall dizzily down the rabbit hole of their shared fetish for public sex, in this Brazilian erotic thriller.

Actor Matias (Gabriel Faryas) is ambitious and pursuing stardom. Closeted politician Rafael (Cirillo Luna) is on track to become mayor. As the two enter into an illicit affair, their mutual kink of public sex steps centre stage.

As both pursue dreams of fame and recognition, they become increasingly addicted to the thrill of risk, seeking out more dangerous encounters that threaten to expose their relationship and destroy everything they've worked for; unable to resist whilst the stakes grow higher.

Surrendering to a world of desire and danger, their fetish creates a game charged with eroticism, voyeurism and the risk of being recognised.

Dissolving the boundaries between performance and reality, directors Filipe Matzembacher and Marcio Reolon have created a seductive queer thriller drive by the thunderous original score from Thiago Pethit.
