Growing Your Healing

A creative food workshop with Earth Tenders

A workshop taking place in a glasshouse

Explore food, culture and land through collective learning in this hands-on workshop.

In this engaging, creative workshop, Earth Tenders will guide you through collective conversations on personal food stories while you craft seed packets and plant your own herbs.

This curated space for collective learning and cultural exchange will include herbal teas and a guided meditation to ground conversations around communal wellbeing, traditional knowledge systems and connection to land.

By the end of the session, you will leave with practical techniques and information for growing your own produce at home, and receive a packet of seeds to start your growing journey.

Whether you're curious about growing a deeper connection to what you eat or developing a practice around food justice, this session invites meaningful reflection and connection to soil and land.

Earth Tenders

Earth Tenders is a Black-led organisation committed to strengthening local food systems and community health for the long term.

At the core of our work is a deep celebration of land practices, traditional knowledge systems and relationships with the earth. We believe that reconnecting with the land is an act of resistance, healing and self-determination.

Our mission is to nurture spaces where everyone, particularly Black and Global Majority communities, can reclaim land-based knowledge, build collective power and shape a future where we thrive on our own terms.
