UK Premiere: Puppygirl + Q&A (18*)

Chronic Youth Film Festival 2026

The word 'puppygirl' sits on a vaporwave background.

In this UK premiere, a trans woman goes on a hilariously uncomfortable journey of discovery as she strives to become a “puppygirl”, in this unique DIY gonzo documentary.

When a trans woman is given the opportunity to perform in a locally-produced erotic “puppygirl” film, she decides to use the opportunity to repair her relationship with sex.

Henry Hanson’s inventive DIY style offers us a strange and shocking, yet warm perspective on gender, kink and the complexity of self-humiliation in this unique documentary that blurs lines between fiction and reality.

The film will be followed by a Q&A with director Henry Hanson and the film's star, Milo Talwani.

Content Considerations: Documentary footage of pornographic film shoots, explicit sex, fetishism and strong language throughout. This event is 18+ (attendees must bring a form of legal ID). If you’d like a more nuanced description of what to expect, please get in touch with the programmers by emailing [email protected].
