Adrian Wootton Presents... All the President's Men (4K Restoration) (15)

,Cinema 1
1970s journalists sit on the phone, looking concerned

Commemorating the 50th birthday of this thrilling masterpiece and the passing of its great co-star Robert Redford, Film London CEO Adrian Wootton will tell the extraordinary story of its making.

Following the unbelievable true story of the criminal political deception that brought about the downfall of US President Richard Nixon, this dramatisation is enthralling filmmaking at its best.

Dustin Hoffman and Robert Redford star as Carl Bernstein and Bob Woodward, the Washington Post journalists that eventually revealed the truth of one of the twentieth century's biggest political scandals.

Directed with verve and immense attention to detail by Alan J Pakula, the Academy Award-winning screenplay from William Goldman makes it one of Pakula's greatest works.

Showing in a beautiful 4K restoration, we are delighted to be joined by Adrian Wootton to provide a lavishly detailed talk on the film's making and star Robert Redford's life and career.
