Is This Thing On? + ScreenTalk with Will Arnett & Laura Dern (TBC)

ScreenTalks

A man holding a mic

We are delighted to have Will Arnett and Laura Dern join for a ScreenTalk. In Bradley Cooper's third feature as director, Arnett works through his divorce one punchline at a time.

Alex (Will Arnett) and Tess (Laura Dern) decide to split after being married for twenty years. Though the divorce is amicable, being single in their 40s is not proving to be an easy feat.

Alex settles into a new apartment and discovers an unexpected knack for comedy. Back home, Tess grapples with years of self-sacrifice and starts piecing together who she was before marriage, beginning with a return to coaching volleyball.

After A Star is Born and Maestro, Bradley Cooper's return is tender and gently observed. Shot in an voyeuristic hand-held style, it is inspired by British footballer-turned-comedian John Bishop’s personal journey on self-discovery.

We are delighted to have Laura Dern (Marriage Story, Little Women) and Will Arnett (Arrested Development, BoJack Horseman) join for a ScreenTalk after the screening.
