Irish singer-songwriter Lisa Hannigan’s discography is given fresh symphonic impetus, performed live with contemporary chamber orchestra s t a r g a z e.

With her roots in folk music, Lisa Hannigan is accustomed to performing in stripped-back settings, but for this one-off concert she is working with André de Ridder’s Contemporary Classical ensemble to add drama and depth to her delicate compositions. s t a r g a z e’s lush orchestral structures providing the perfect setting for Hannigan to display the full range and power of her stunning voice.

Before becoming a solo artist in her own right, Lisa Hannigan appeared on two of Damien Rice's albums and toured with him until 2007. She has since gone on to have a career of great distinction. From her Mercury Prize nominated debut Sea Saw, through 2011’s Passenger, to her latest release At Swim, she has cemented herself as one of Ireland’s most important contemporary songwriters.
