Grenfell: Our Home

Powerful interviews and beautiful animation visualise the memories of home still held by the survivors of the Grenfell fire of 14 June 2017. This documentary features compelling testimony, filmed in stereoscopic 360 video, with animation which gradually builds around the viewer as survivors describe the homes, possessions, and people they lost on the night of the fire. The stylised animation offers a moving and original perspective on the life before the fire, in a sensitive and respectful record of the survivor’s experiences.

Nominated for the Sheffield Doc/Fest VR Award, this project went on to win the Alternate Realities Audience Award (supported by Rewind) at the Festival.
