The Barbican Youth Panel was formed in 2017. Members meet fortnightly to share their views on the programming, operations and ethos of the organisation and how it engages with and represents young people across all departments ranging from Music and Theatre, to Marketing and Human Resources.

With the opportunity to get involved behind-the-scenes with major Barbican shows and events and mentoring opportunities across the Centre, members gain experience in project management, teamwork and leadership.

The role of a Barbican Youth Panel member is to:

•    Support our vision of ‘arts without boundaries’
•    Share their views and opinions on all aspects of the organisation with decision-makers
•    Get involved in delivering projects related to our programming across the art forms
