Pillion (18) + ScreenTalk with director Harry Lighton & Harry Melling

ScreenTalks

Two men

Director Harry Lighton and Harry Melling join for a ScreenTalk of their kinky, heart-warming coming-of-age, also starring Alexander Skarsgård.

We are delighted to have director Harry Lighton and actor Harry Melling (The Queen's Gambit) join for a ScreenTalk after the screening.

When an impossibly handsome man enters his local pub one evening, an awkward yet eager Colin (Harry Melling) is swept up on a wild ride of self-discovery. As submissive to Ray (Alexander Skarsgård), his mundane surburban life is ignited by BDSM, boundaries and bikers. It turns out, Colin has "an aptitude for devotion."

Winner of Best Screenplay at 2025 Cannes Film Festival, adapted from Adam Mars-Jones' Box Hill, Pillion is the subversive, sexy debut from writer-director Harry Lighton.

Whilst leather and chains of fetish subculture may dominate the film's aesthetic, you can't help but submit to the chemistry between Melling and Skarsgård and the tender coming-of-age story at its core.
