Donate to our Christmas appeal
Please join our efforts to make our programme as accessible as possible even at this difficult time.
The pandemic has forced us to adapt many of our programmes and re-think the way we collaborate with our artistic and community partners.
In October we launched Live from the Barbican - a series of concerts accessible online for a global digital audience through a livestream and also for a reduced, socially distanced audience in the Barbican Hall. Performances by the Kanneh-Mason Family, BBC Symphony Orchestra, Sir Bryn Terfel, Nubya Garcia and Shabaka Hutchings with Britten Sinfonia, were just some of the highlights.
To continue our mission to make our programme accessible to everyone, we are providing free online streaming passes to the schools and community groups that we work with, so they too could enjoy and feel inspired by the music and perhaps find moments of connection through these difficult times.
While we rely on ticket sales to continue our work, we also want to increase the number of schools and community groups who can access our performances in 2021.
Your donation of £12.50, the value of a live-stream ticket, could help a classroom or community group to continue to experience the magic of live music.
If you’re able to, please contribute today, so that younger generations and those most impacted by the isolation and uncertainty of the moment can continue to enjoy and benefit from engaging in creativity and culture. Thank you.
