Frequently Asked Questions
What time does the festival start and finish?
Doors open at 12:30pm. The main programme begins at 1pm, and the festival finishes at 9pm.
What tickets are available?
Festival Pass — £20: Enjoy one headline event of your choice, plus access to the full wider festival programme of over 30 events.
VIP Ticket — £45: Go all in with access to all four headline events, all 31 festival events, and a premium goodie bag filled with books and bookish treats. VIP tickets are strictly limited.
Do I need to book my headline event separately?
Yes. When purchasing your Festival Pass, you will be asked to select your headline event. This secures your seat for that session.
Can I attend more than one headline event?
Each Festival Pass includes one headline event. To attend more than one headline event, you will need to purchase an additional Festival Pass.
Do I need to book other events in advance?
No. Only headline events are booked in advance. All other talks, panels, workshops and children’s sessions are available on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to room capacity.
Does my Festival Pass guarantee entry to every non-headline event?
No. Your pass gives you access to the wider programme, but individual events have limited capacity. Please arrive early for the events you do not want to miss.
Do children need tickets?
Children can take part in craft activities within the Children’s Zone for free. Children attending adult events, including headline sessions, will need their own £20 Festival Pass.
