Taro Hakase’s Summer Breeze

Taro Hakase holding his violin and smiling at the camera

Japanese violinist Taro Hakase captures the feeling of a warm summer’s evening with this concert featuring a selection of his favourite pieces alongside his own compositions.

Taro Hakase is one of Japan’s best-loved violinists, as technically dazzling as he is charming as each piece is introduced with a few words – and probably a joke – from the artist himself.

Hakase first appeared on the international music scene in 1996, when he recorded ‘To Love You More’ with Céline Dion, which went on to become a No. 1 hit. In 2007, he moved to London, and has been based between here and Japan ever since, establishing himself as a dynamic and captivating performer and composer – a world-class violinist.

This performance will begin promptly at the advertised start time and running time will be confirmed closer to the event.
