International Beckett Season
Our month-long season comprises nine pieces and a film series that span almost thirty years of Beckett’s career.

Beckett on Screen
7 - 14 June 2015
A series of rarely-seen and utterly compelling works by Samuel Beckett on television and film, featuring Happy Days, Play, Ghost Trio and Eh Joe.

City of London Festival 2015
Every summer for the past 53 years, The City of London Festival animates the square mile’s unique buildings and outdoor spaces with an extensive artistic programme of music, theatre, contemporary circus, stand-up comedy, film, children’s theatre, walks, talks and tours with more than 100 ticketed performances and a further 100 free events.

Beyond Barbican
This summer, we present Barking Town Square Street Party and Walthamstow Garden Party. These free events feature music, theatre, arts & crafts, food and family activity.

CASA Latin American Theatre Festival 2015
We celebrate the Year of Mexico with two very different plays, light and dark - this is what's happening with new writing in Mexico.

RSC Shakespeare on Film
7 - 31 January 2016
A film season of William Shakespeare's greatest plays performed by the RSC and their extraordinary company of actors, including Judi Dench, David Tennant and Vanessa Redgrave.

Weekend Labs
Weekend Labs are an opportunity for practical exploration and discovery, inspired by the international theatre and dance programme presented at the Barbican. The ticket costs include access to both the workshop and a performance. Labs are suitable for those in higher education and training, emerging artists and professionals only.
