Grzegorz Jarzyna leads a weekend-long workshop looking at classical texts by Greek tragedians, including Euripides and Sophocles. Workshop participants will have a unique opportunity to discover Grzegorz Jarzyna's distinctive approach to his creative work. The worshop will be largely practice-based and will consist of two days of intensive, practical exploration. Participants will also have a chance to talk to Grzegorz Jarzyna about his latest production, Nosferatu.

Grzegorz Jarzyna is the General and Artistic Director of TR Warszawa, one of the most innovative stages in Poland. An award-winning international director, he is famous for his bold reinterpretations of classical plays (Tropical Madness, Magnetism of the Heart), adaptations of great european novels (Doctor Faustus, Prince Myshkin), provocative contemporary texts (Unidentified Human Remains, The Celebration (Festen) and 4.48 Psychosis) and operas (The Gambler, The Child and the Spells and Dwarf). Latest productions include T.E.O.R.E.M.A.T., No Matter How Hard We Tried and Nosferatu.
