Coinciding with new show Stories from an Invisible Town and revealing the secrets behind improvisation and play which underpin the creation of every Hoipolloi show, this two-day Lab will allow you to enter Hoipolloi’s fantastical world, exploring the power of creativity and the celebration of imagination through performance.

Participants will work with improvisation to see how the everyday can lead towards the extraordinary and will be given a firsthand insight into the company’s distinctive approach towards their work. Over the weekend there will also be the opportunity to put questions to artistic director, Shôn Dale-Jones and to learn more about about Hoipolloi’s latest venture; the creation of a unique digital platform and the creative relationship it has to live performance.

Ages 18+. Suitable for university students, drama school students and theatre artists.
