Osteria specialises in Italian cooking in the bistronomy style by chef Anthony Demetre.

The acclaimed Chef Patron of Wild Honey in Mayfair, at Osteria Anthony Demetre has created a menu of bold, ingredient-focussed Italian cooking in the bistronomy style that he helped to pioneer. The menus changes regularly, with a focus on Italian produce and seasonality.

In the bar, Amore bibo, cocktails focus on Italian classics such as Negronis and Bellinis. The wine list includes famous Barolos, Supertuscans and an intriguing line-up of indigenous varieties and new generation winemakers from Puglia, Sicily and Sardinia.

Located on the second floor, the restaurant offers diners views of the Barbican's iconic lakeside and fountains.

Pre-theatre menu
Our new menu is served exclusively between 5-7pm and has been specially created to offer the widest choice yet ensure that your food is served promptly, so that you can enjoy a relaxing dinner prior to the evening performance.

Aperitivo Hour
From arancini to bocconcini and charcuterie, enjoy a selection of delicious, complimentary* snacks with your drink, during Osteria’s Aperitivo Hour every day between 5–7pm.

*Served complimentary when any drink is purchased from the Osteria bar.

Italian Afternoon Tea
The Osteria team take a fresh look at the quintessential English Afternoon Tea, sprinkling some Italian flair across three tiers of treats. Served every Saturday throughout April, from 2-5pm - please book in advance.
