The UK premiere of the Berlin s t a r g a z e ensemble’s newest ventures: collaborations with two of America's most exciting alternative music acts.

In a special one-off date on their upcoming European tour, Meric Long and Logan Kroeber, aka The Dodos, team up with the experimental ensemble to perform fully fleshed-out orchestral versions of songs from their back catalogue, including material from new album Individ.

While the duo are used to reworking their mesmerising indie-rock for live shows, here their music is realised in full multi-layered glory, s t a r g a z e’s luscious layers of strings, woodwind and percussion providing the perfect backdrop to Long and Kroeber’s ragged guitars and intricate drum patterns.

s t a r g a z e will also perform new arrangements of songs by, and a tribute to, noise-pop act Deerhoof, composed with the band’s drummer and co-songwriter Greg Saunier. Conducted by André de Ridder, these extremely beautiful, crystal clear alt-classical ‘covers’ highlight the rhythmic and melodic richness at the heart of Deerhoof’s joyous noise-pop.
