Delight your family this Christmas with a double bill of classic musical stories for children, accompanied by live orchestra and narrated by Tamsin Greig (Green Wing / Episodes).

With the enchanting animated film, The Snowman, shown on a big screen, full orchestral forces inject tingle-down-the-spine magic into ‘Walking in the air’ - the soundtrack to every child’s Christmas.

After the interval Tamsin Greig and the orchestra bring Peter and his animal companions to life before your ears. Children will be enthralled by Prokofiev’s charming tale of courage and compassion, full to the brim with dancing strings, quacking oboes, fluttering flutes and prowling horns.

The perfect way to begin the exciting build-up to Christmas day.

Each performance lasts approximately 1 hour 20 mins with a 20 min interval
