This free outdoor event takes place at Gillett Square, Dalston London N16
Join us on the day the Olympic Torch relay goes through East London for a jam-packed afternoon of free live music and dance for everyone, now taking place for a third year.
Enjoy a chance to swing with King Candy, learn street dance moves with Slum Civilians and watch acrobatics from Tanzania's Black Eagles. Plus there will be Bollywood and 1920s-style dancing performances and workshops, drumming from East London communities and a whole lot more.

12.30 - 1pm Movimientos DJ’s
1pm, 2.25pm & 3.45pm Drum Works Feel the rhythm with the Barbican Guildhall Creative Learning drumming students
1.10 - 1.40pm Bollywood Vibes Watch and learn some energetic Bollywood moves
1.40 - 2.25pm King Candy & Swing Red-hot swing music and rhythms to get you dancing
2.35 - 3.20pm Residual Gurus The highly entertaining Catalan group makes infectious music from recycled material – a unique experience
3.20 - 3.45pm Black Eagles Catch jaw-dropping acrobatics all the way from Tanzania
4.20pm Olympic Torch Relay on Kingsland Road
4.50 – 5.40pm Los Chinches Peruvian psychedelia – funky, playful and with a discernable Latin accent!
5.40 – 6.10pm Lah Di Dah Fancy a workout inspired by 1920s-style dancing? Join in!
6.20 – 7.20pm Lokkhi Terra Jazz, bhangra, Cuban grooves and Brazilian melodies – a seamless collage of the planet’s finest noises
7.20 - 8.05pm Slum Civilians One of street dance’s best crews performs and teaches you some steps to impress
8.15 - 9.15pm Owiny Sigoma Band An hypnotic Afro electro experience featuring musicians from Kenya and London, guaranteed to get your hips shaking
9.15 - 10pm Movimientos DJ's
9.50 - 11pm Hot Water One of South Africa’s most exciting and danceable band, mixing folk, blues and township grooves. (Concert taking place in The Vortex)
10pm Koyaanisqatsi (U) Late-night screening of the cult film set to an atmospheric score by iconic composer Philip Glass (dir Godfrey Reggio)
11pm - midnight Vortex DJ's (in The Vortex)
