With its sizzling mix of rock, hip-hop, ska and traditional Mexican music, Café Tacuba has been one of Latin America's most successful and innovative bands over the last fifteen years.
Arthouse enough to be covered by the Kronos Quartet, Urban enough to have built a raucous fan-base from the streets of Buenos Aires to the barrios of Mexico City. This will be only the band¹s second show ever in the UK.
'This is dirty, raucous, greasy, innocently wild, soulful, and raggedly elegant rock & roll that happens to be art because of its originality, energy, and guts. As brave as Zapata's revolution and as much fun as an electrified Latin son band playing the Clash and Chuck Berry at the same time.' All Music Guide Opening the concert are Forro in the Dark whose music is a mix of traditional Brazilian northeastern rhythm and NYC clubby Grooves.
Clubstage Very Be Cafeful + DJ Tocamadera Live set from Very Be Careful, LA-based Vallenato quintet, directly after the Café Tacuba concert.
