The return of the most accomplished repertory big band in jazz.

Wynton Marsalis leads an ensemble that delves into the jazz tradition with affection, musicality and drive, recreating the music of masters past and present with the energy of today as well as a rare understanding of the musicís rich history. Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra performances invariably celebrate the essential spirit of jazz at its absolute zenith.

Wynton and the Orchestra explore a fascinating repertoire that links the rhythms and sounds of jazz with the atmosphere of the American railroad, echoing the cross-country journeys that took jazz from city to city as the music evolved through the 20th century.

Co led by two of the UKís leading jazz musicians Damon Brown and Ed Jones and winners of Jazzwise Magazineís ' Best Jazz Ensemble 2007.
