A new exhibition featuring the work of award-winning photographer Elizabeth Dalziel, In Her Foosteps tells the history of women-led activism in east London through 16 inspiring stories.

From Suffragettes and Greenham Common, to climate campaigners and social media activists: for over 150 years, women in east London have been making the world a better place. Yet their achievements are often overshadowed by their male counterparts, or their stories lost completely. In Her Footsteps shines a light on these unsung heroes, giving them the recognition they deserve, and portrays women in a way rarely seen in traditional media powerful, determined and leaders of social change.
