All aboard! All aboard! Spring's colours are bursting out so awaken your sense of adventure and come on the journey of a lifetime with the world's greatest orchestra of teenagers. With unstoppable momentum, the intrepid musicians will whisk you from the heat and humidity of the Mexican jungle to the imperial grandeur of St Petersburg.

Your expert guide for the journey is Mexican conductor Carlos Migeul Prieto. Using his insider knowledge he reveals a rare musical gem, Silvestre Revueltas' film score The Night of the Mayas. Fasten your seatbelts for an exhilarating rollercoater ride filled with ritualistic fanfares, hedonistic dances and exotic frenzied percussion. Joining the next leg of the journey is a very special guest, cellist Sheku Kanneh-Mason. He will reprise his electrifying performance of Shostakovich's Cello Concerto No 1 that won him BBC Young Musicians of the Year 2016 in this collaboration of the best young British musical talent.

And then we reach our final stop: Shostakovich's Symphony No 5. One of the greatest symphonies of the 20th century, its awesome intensity and acerbic pomp commands attention from its opening bars to its startling finale.
