Praised worldwide for his imagination and sensitivity, London-based composer and pianist Motoki Hirai makes his long-awaited Barbican Centre debut, in a concert in aid of the 2011 Japan Earthquake/Tsunami.  This stunning programme includes a world premiere of his own work alongside Beethoven, Schubert and Chopin.
