BBC 6 Music DJ Gilles Peterson tells the story of one of his favourite record labels Ė the artist-led Strata East which changed 70s jazz.

He will be joined by Strata-Eastís founders, Charles Tolliver and Stanley Cowell, master bassist Cecil McBee and great tenor sax player Billy Harper and phenomenal drummer Alvin Queen.

Featuring special guest Black Records diva, Jean Carne, this concert will tell the story of the home of 1970ís post-bop, spiritual jazz and afro-jazz.
