Great jazz artists come together and, through their music, express support for Labour’s values of fairness and diversity.

Inspired by the groundswell of American jazz musicians who appeared at the Jazz For Obama concert at during the 2012 US presidential campaign, Jazz For Labour will take place in the run up to the general election next May.

Performers include Courtney Pine, Claire Martin, Ian Shaw, Arun Ghosh, Andy Sheppard, Christine Tobin, and Soweto Kinch with transatlantic support from Darius Brubeck.

'Jazz is the greatest music that allows human beings to describe their social environment. Many have adopted the philosophy of jazz music to unify people in sound, it is my belief that this event can do this to make for a better United Kingdom.' Courtney Pine CBE
