The BBC Singers present a selection of songs from a truly golden age of French music: the 20th century. This concert reflects both the spiritual world of Poulenc, Duruflé and Messiaen, and the inspiration of French poetry on composers such as Françaix, Ravel and Debussy. Immerse yourself in the rich, film-score sensuality of Poulenc’s Un soir de neige and the cheeky, helter-skelter sound-world of Jolivet’s Épithalame, and experience the virtuosity of the BBC Singers under their Chief Conductor David Hill.
