Critic, music-lover and film-buff extraordinaire…no-one understands great cinema better than Mark Kermode. Tonight he joins movie maestro Robert Ziegler and the full City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra to present a personal choice of classic film music and to welcome a very special guest in an exclusive interview live on the Barbican stage.

Mark will introduce music from his favourite films – including The Exorcist, Taxi Driver, Planet of the Apes, There Will Be Blood and Mary Poppins – and then will interview acclaimed actor Jason Isaacs about his film career.

This performance is due to end at approximately 9.20pm (interval 8.00-8.20pm).
