Working side-by-side with musicians from the Academy of Ancient Music, we invite emerging strings, lute and harpsichord musicians to explore baroque music in a three-day Lab led by Music Director Richard Egarr. Playing music by Corelli, Lully and Handel on three successive days, this is the perfect chance to share and learn from the AAM players in an intimate setting. Both modern and period-instrument players are invited to apply.
This Lab launches a new collaboration between Barbican Creative Learning and the AAM’s AAMplify scheme, following the launch of the AAM as Associate Ensemble at the Barbican.
To apply Please send the following documents to Jenny Beer, Creative Learning Education Officer, Barbican/Guildhall Creative Learning: • a completed application form (available to download on the top right of this page) • an up-to-date CV • either a recent recording or a reference from current teacher or professional referee
