This three-day laboratory is a unique opportunity for four emerging quartets to develop their practice with all members of Kronos Quartet.
Across the three days there will be a key focus on in depth practical exploration of contemporary repertoire that you are currently performing or rehearsing. With one to one tuition from all the quartet members these three days aim to deepen your knowledge and understanding of 21st century music. In addition, there will also be facilitated discussion time with the Quartet, to explore and discuss the rehearsal process, the art of collaboration and building audiences.
Ages 18+ Suitable to university & conservatoire quartets and professional musicians
Included in the price of the workshop Lunch will be provided each day and you will also receive a free ticket to Kronos Quartet’s first concert in this London residency - Made in America on Tue 24 January, 8pm at Hackney Empire.
