Malian musical superstars Amadou & Mariam present a truly unique event - a concert staged entirely in the dark.

Eclipse will tell the story of Amadou and Mariamís life and work together, from their time at the Eclipse Orchestra at The Institute for the Young Blind in Bamako, where they met. Their magical fusion of pop, blues and Malian music will be interspersed with a narration by Malian storyteller Hamadoun Tandina, atmospheric noises from Bamako and a backdrop of scents specially created for the performance.

York Hall in Bethnal Green will be entirely blacked out for this unforgettable sensory experience.
