The Barbican Library once again welcomes the celebrated instructor, author and batik artist, Rosi Robinson for an exhibition of original works of batik art, inspired by themes such as the Olympics and her travels. Challenging traditional views of batik paintings, Rosi Robinson's work appears as if done in watercolour - the fluidity of her process of applying wax and dyes on fabric, reveals vivid colours and intense reflections and shadows when the wax is removed. Batik tools as well as information about Rosi's books, prints, cards and DVD will be on display as well.
