Ticket Booking
Tickets are available from Fri 24 Sep and all events are bookable online. If you have any problems booking or would like more information then call our Box Office on 0845 120 7500.

All children must be accompanied to all events. Please note that for Family Film Club and some other family events we do not admit adults without an accompanying child - please check events pages for further information for each event.

Age Recommendation (7+) (5+) etc
Recommended minimum age to attend the screening or workshop. This is only a suggestion. Most films and workshops are suitable for kids up to 99 years old!

Subtitles

The LCFF is full of films from all over the world and many of the films will have subtitles. Please check the events pages for information on subtitles and how they will be presented at the Barbican. Venues outside the Barbican may have different policies on subtitles, so please contact each venue directly for more information.

Paying on the day

Barbican car parks operate a pay-on-foot system. A special tariff of £5 per day applies at weekends and after 5.30pm on weekdays (5pm if booked in advance).

Disabled Parking

Disabled Customers can obtain a voucher allowing free parking by presenting their blue badge at the Box Office/ticket desks. The best place to park is in Car Park 3 off Silk Street. There is level sign-posted access from Car Parks 3 and 5.

Eating

We have 3 restaurants in the centre, including the recently opened Barbican Foodhall and Lounge, both with family friendly lunches so you can really make a day of it. Find out more information about our catering.
There are also lots of places to sit and eat your lunch or snacks, inside and outside, if you decide to bring food with you.

Photography and Video

At some of our workshops or events we may have a photographer present. We will always ask for your written permission before any photos or video is taken. We do not hold any images that we do not have parental permission for. Images or video taken will be used for Barbican archive, fundraising, press or marketing purposes in print or online.

Free Cloakrooms
There are free cloakrooms where pushchairs can be left in the Cinema 1 Foyer, Stalls Floor Foyer and on Level 3.

Baby Changing

There are baby changing facilities in the Cinema 1 Foyer, Stalls Floor Foyer, Balcony, and on Level 3 and Level 4.

Workshops
Barbican workshops are for families to participate in and enjoy together, so everyone needs a ticket. All children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
All adults must be accompanied by children. Children under two may accompany their families into the workshops for free.

Our workshop leaders are professional artists, skilled at leading workshops for children. They are always supported in workshops by experienced Barbican assistants. All members of staff adhere to strict child protection policies.

Family Film Club
LCFF is the highlight of our year, but we’re back every week at Family Film Club, with a similar programme of weekly films and activities. For more details see here
