Managing your Communication Options
Once registered with us, you can easily manage what you would like to hear about and how we can contact you. This can be done online by logging in to your account and clicking on “edit details”. You may also inform us of your preferences by contacting the Box Office by email ( or phone (020 7638 8891).

You can also use these methods to opt out of all communications if preferred. By selecting this option, you will not receive any notifications from us. This may mean, however, that you will miss out on important up-coming event information. All notifications are made via email first.

Regularity of Communication
The regularity of event promotion emails depend on your preferences. If you are a Barbican Member you will receive one email per week, tailored to what you have requested to hear about. You will also receive the monthly event guide (overseas members will be sent a copy of the monthly guide via email). There will also be occasional artform “Season Launch” emails that are sent to all members detailing all new events part of the new season.

Non-members will receive separate notifications regarding the art-forms selected. As a general guide, each artform sends out event news approximately once every fortnight. If you have selected Cinema – New Releases, you will receive a weekly email letting you know this information. Contemporary Music has more frequent on-sales and customers who have signed up for these newsletters will receive this email weekly.
