Introduced by Bauhaus film specialist Thomas Tode + with live musical accompaniment by John Sweeney.

The Film und Foto (FiFo) exhibition, held in Stuttgart in May–June 1929, was the most significant public display of modern photography and film in Europe. Moholy-Nagy and Hans Richter collaborated as curators for the film section of the exhibition, a selection of which will be screened at this special event.

Including films by Marcel Duchamp, Walter Ruttmann, Fernand Léger, René Clair, Guido Seeber, Eugène Deslaw, Joris Ivens and Mannus Frankens.

This event was first re-enacted by Thomas Tode at the Metropolis Kino Hamburg.
