City of London School Visits Fund
The City of London School Visits Fund supports learning outside of the classroom, giving schools up to £300 towards the cost of a visit to cultural venues funded by the City of London Corporation.
Venues include the Barbican, Barbican Library, Guildhall School and Guildhall Art Gallery and many more, with visits supporting learning at all key stages across the curriculum.
If you’re a teacher organising a school trip, you can use the funding towards covering any reasonable essential costs associated with your visit such as the cost of transport, staff cover, admission fees or a workshop.
If your school is in Greater London, hasn’t visited your chosen venue in the last three years and at least 30% of pupils are eligible for Pupil Premium*, then you can apply.
For eligibility information and a full list of venues, visit the City of London School Visits Fund website.
*Special schools do not need to meet the Pupil Premium requirement.
