There are installations, talks or performances scheduled at certain times and in specific places around the Barbican. Alongside this there are three distinct spaces for people to work on projects, plan activities and socialise:

The Lab, on the ground floor, is a space for making things - soldering, wiring, playing with equipment, wet activities such as painting etc. This will have room for 20 people, has power and wifi, and is roped off from the public.

The Balcony, overlooking the main ground floor foyer, is a co-working and meeting space with tables, chairs, wifi and power. It will have room for 15 people and is roped off from the public.

The Cafe, in the ground floor foyer, is a more informal space to meet people, chat and relax. It will have room for 15 people and is open to the public.
