The inaugural Do Something Different Weekend took place in 2007 as part of the Barbican’s 25th Anniversary celebrations and the Mayor of London’s EAST Festival.
Now in its fourth year, it’s become a hotly-anticipated annual event, showcasing the best of the arts in East London in a series of performances and workshops. All of the Barbican’s artforms – film, music, theatre, dance and visual art – join forces to surprise and excite Londoners throughout the day and late into the night.
