A pre-party before your Christmas party! Join us for a seasonal social and showbiz shindig starring Amy Lamé, Readers Wifes, Ursula Martinez, Jess Love, Ryan Styles … and quite a few Santas.
Bring your friends and come along for a night of dancing, drinking, chrimbo cabaret, shopping, mince pies, mollies and mistletoe.

Give the chain stores a miss and come Christmas shopping at our specially created Barbican bazaar. You’ll find a myriad of stalls offering a range of affordable housewares, clothes, jewellery , artwork, speciality foods and cards.
The Readers Wifes
10pm–1am, ClubStage
Duckie DJs The Readers Wifes get party started with their popular blend of dancefloor and 80s pop classics.
Cabaret Performance
10.30pm, Clubstage
Amy Lamé steps in as master of ceremonies and hosts our (alternative) chrimbo cabaret. Featuring weird and wonderful acts from Ryan Styles miming into a giant balloon to Jess Love wowing us with her hula hooping skills and Office Party’s Ursula Martinez’s serenading songs and dance acts.
Drop in activities
A rolling programme of chrimbo inspired drop-in activities alongside the market, no need to pre-book… simply turn up, bring your friends for festive fun!
Letter Lounge

Tweeting, texting and commenting, communication will never be the same! If you long for time to put pen to paper, let alone walk to the post box, the Letter Lounge is for you. It’s a space where you can come along and write the letters you never have time for. We’ll even give you a stamp and post it for you too.

Japanese Gift Wrapping

Buy your gifts at the market and get them beautifully wrapped using vintage headscarves. This technique is inspired by the art of ‘Furoshiki’ – a traditional Japanese wrapping technique.
