Hear from Tom Emerson, one of the founders of award-winning architecture practice 6a.

Founded in 2001 with Stephanie Macdonald, 6a has developed an international reputation for a portfolio that has a strong focus on commissions for arts spaces including Raven Row (2009), the South London Gallery (2010) and the extension of the MK Gallery, in Milton Keynes (2015-). Recent projects include Cowan Court, a 68-room hall of residence for Churchill College, Cambridge (2016) and a studio for fashion photographer Jeurgen Teller, in West London (2016), winners of RIBA Regional Awards 2017 and London Building of the Year. The Photography Studio for Juergen Teller is currently shortlisted for the Stirling Prize.
