One year fixed-term contract
The Barbican`s programme of world-class arts and learning has a growing family of supporters and a Development department designed to raise funds from all sources to underpin its ambitious plans. We are seeking an outstanding writer and researcher to support our fundraisers in making their approaches. You will also provide administrative support to the Barbican Centre Trust, the Barbican`s charitable arm, providing support of the highest calibre to trustees. Initially this position is offered as a fixed term contract of one year.
With exceptional communication skills, you enjoy writing and are adept at producing outstanding persuasive copy, adapting style and tone for the appropriate audience. Experienced in analysing, collating and presenting information, you will also be responsible for providing high-quality research on donors and prospects to our fundraisers. Highly organised, you are able to deal confidently with a very wide variety of tasks, many of which will be time-critical. The ability to build good relationships at all levels of seniority is essential.
