To mark its first quarter century, the Centre celebrates with:

* 25 landmark events all through 2007, which embrace all the art forms and embody the heart and spirit of the arts programme.

* A marathon fortnight of events from Wednesday 21 February, with over 100 art, film, dance, music, theatre and education events.

* A new look following the major £35 million refurbishment of the foyers, public spaces and all the venues. The Barbican now has a new front door.

* The 25th birthday book, a bold and provocative look at the last 25 years, available for free from Wednesday 21 February 2007.
